This expert is a trained engineer and consultant in the area of intellectual property. He was responsible for the management of the Intellectual Property Department of a major European agrochemical group as well as an examiner, president of the Opposition Division and attaché with a Board of Appeal at the European Patent Office. In addition, he was named an expert within the framework of the creation of the ANASE patent office and practiced in Canada with one of the largest law firms specializing in intellectual property.
Philippe Bertin
Mr. Bertin is Senior Consultant on intellectual property, technological transfers and strategic alliances with Stratégies Trois-Quatorze, a firm specializing in the implementation of intellectual property strategies for doing business. With more than 17 years of experience in corporate intellectual property management and holder of patents on several inventions, he has been actively involved, as both issuer and recipient, in a number of technological transfers. Furthermore, he had advised close to 800 Québec SMEs on business strategy based on the development of their intellectual property.
