We are a producer of metal powders and the method of manufacture generates a layer of oxide on the surface.
The metal powders are micrometric in size and we want to measure the% oxygen in a typical sample.

We do not have measuring equipment.
We want to measure the amount of oxygen (in%) in the oxide layer using inorganic elemental analysis.

Constraint(s)

  • We have a preference for using inorganic elemental analysis on Leco analyzer or equivalent.
  • We need to validate quality control at least once a month or more.
  • The service provider must be located in the Montreal, South Shore or North Shore area
